Rosevale Ambassador (P) was the highest price Santa Gertrudis bull sold last year for $60 000.  We feel he is the best bull offered at auction for some time and Dave Greenup mentioned in his sale catalogue that “Ambassador is possibly the best bull ever offered at Rosevale”.  He has completed his first season at Bremervale and impressed us with his doing ability, coming out of a “rough” paddock in about the same condition as he went in.  We eagerly await the first calves of Ambassador to hit the ground in the next couple of months.

Ambassador was purchased for his overall faultless attributes.  He is a real gentle giant, with a perfect temperament, yet incredible libido for a bull of his size, he is not one to be seen sitting under a tree.  Ambassador is the complete package, covering a lot of ground and having a large, wide frame to hang the beef off and completing it off with flawless structure and a perfect sheath.  He displays a real sirey presence in his herd, with his proud stance and loose, fine tropical coat

Ambassadors performance places him as one of the leading sires in the Santa Gertrudis breed.  He is ranked in the top 1% of the breed for Domestic & Export Production Index, all Growth traits, Carcase Weight and Scrotal Circumference.  His sire Tyndale Noddy (P), has been one of the most influential sires in the Santa breed, selling 77 sons at auction for an incredible average of $13 299.  Ambassador’s dam, Rosevale Honey Y128 is an extremely fertile cow, having 9 calves in 9 years and still going.  With these incredible genetics behind him, we are expecting exceptional quality and consistency from his breeding.
